Attorney at Moss & Colella, P.C.
Kimberly is a third-generation personal injury attorney who first fell in love with the law while watching her father, and grandfather, Morris H. Shillman, passionately advocate for an injured client at trial. She later had opportunities to join her father, Ronald A. Steinberg, in depositions and court. Kimberly’s father and grandfather instilled in her a belief that every injured person needs a strong advocate and deserves to be heard.
Since her admission to the State Bar of Michigan, Kimberly has dedicated herself to helping victims of personal injury seek justice. From the initial interview through the appellate process, she devotes the utmost care and attention to every case to obtain the most favorable result for her clients.
Kimberly entered the workforce after earning her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan in 1992 and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Detroit School of Law in 1997. Since then, she has litigated in state, federal, and appellate courts throughout Michigan.
Kimberly also sits as a case evaluator in the Oakland County Circuit Court. When not lawyering, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons, reading, watching movies, and exploring the local art scene. She also devotes time to several local organizations as a committee and/or board member.
